Whether you have a plan in mind or no clue where to start, our dedicated gap year specialists will get you on your way. When the time comes, you’ll head out with confidence to fulfill all your personal goals.

You’ll do it your way

Once you know what you want, we’ll make it happen just like that. You can combine any of our projects and expeditions into your own ideal journey. You can start that journey any month of the year. You can join for 2 weeks or 12 months – or any length of time in between. You can travel with your friends or go it alone. You get the idea. It’s your gap year, after all.

Your parents can relax

We’ve been doing gap years so long we have it down to an art. We have a UK office to answer any questions (why not come and say hello?). Our in-country staff know their destinations backwards and all of our projects are thoroughly researched. You don’t need to take our word for it: you can find honest reviews of our programmes on sites such as GoOverseas. We’re also a member of respected travel associations such as BETA (British Educational Travel Association) and have been featured in newspapers including The Independent and The Telegraph.

You’ll be in good hands

Our local teams are so much more than emergency contacts. They are your friendly faces, always on hand and keen to show you the ropes. Whether you need help with lesson planning, tips on which foods to try, ideas for your weekends, or even if you’re feeling a bit homesick, your GapGuru team will make your stay as easy and fun as possible.

We don’t think you should have to worry about extras during your gap year. When you book with GapGuru, we’ll have it all covered. That means there’s nothing to soak up the spending money you’ve marked out for seeing the sights and hitting the markets. Local transport? Check. Accommodation? Check. All meals? Check.
