Lucy Fisher's Gap Year in India

Posted By C Bowden on 30 Apr 2014
If you’re reading this because you’re considering a trip with GapGuru, then I can assure you from personal experience that you are about to make the most crucial and productive decision and it is sure to be the experience of a life time!   I know this because back in the summer of 2007, like you I had the very same decisions to make and thankfully I chose GapGuru to take me to India. With the help and dedication of GapGuru I spent 6 weeks in New Delhi, living with a host family and other British volunteers, teaching music (and a wide array of other subjects), in a school and vocational centre for children and adults, which promotes inclusive education.

Top Three Thai Foods!

Posted By David Poppe on 29 Apr 2014
Thai food is world famous and well known for its blended and vibrant flavors! The four flavors that are most popular in dishes are: spicy, salty, sweet, and sour.  At restaurants/stalls you will see four small jars which have: 1) spicy flakes, 2) sugar, 3) vinegar with chilies, and 4) fish sauce, sometimes with or without chili’s. The beauty of Thai dishes is that each restaurant or vendor makes each dish with his/her own style.
