Old Delhi Orientation

Posted By Delhi Darlings on 27 Feb 2008
Today we went to Old Delhi, all ten of us Delhi Darlings and Debbie! Took the Metro from Connaught Place to Old Delhi, the Metro is amazing! It’s clean, new, and more efficient than the London underground. And so you step from this modern haven into the streets of Old Delhi, and the contrast is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. We started off at the Red Fort – absolutely stunning, it was a beautiful day too so the red sandstone looked amazing.

After some bemused looks and scratching of heads, we used our eternally useful guidebooks provided by GapGuru, the internet, and an A-Z to conclude that we were to meet at the President’s House.
